IT Manager – Morden, Surreyto £38,000

IT Manager with knowledge of ERP systems is required by a client based in Morden, Surrey. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £38,000.

Duties
- Troubleshooting, installing and updating desktop PC hardware, software, printers, scanners, phones and other peripherals.
- Configuration and set-up of all new server systems required internally for the company’s activities.
- Firewall administration, anti-virus updates and overall responsibility for company IT security.
- Administer and maintain the ERP system.
- Provide telephone and desktop support to internal users and provide training where necessary.
- Forecasting any needed improvements, budgeting for and implementing any changes.
- Manage all network hardware and equipment including routers, switches and hubs.
- Ensure network connectivity of all workstations.

Key skills

- Previous experience in a similar IT Manager role.
- Experience of ERP / MRP Systems
- Good working knowledge of the following operating systems:-. Windows XP /Vista/ Windows 7 and - -Windows 2003 / 2008 Server with Active Directory.
- Working knowledge of MS Exchange Server 2003 / 2007 / 2010
- Experience with DNS, DHCP and Terminal Services
- Knowledge of WAN / LAN / WIFI and TCP/IP
- Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software
