Technical Consultant - Java - Global Travel - Near Sheffield - £35k

An experienced Technical Consultant, with excellent Java skills and happy to travel internationally, is required by a growing software house based near Sheffield. A salary of up to £35k plus expenses is offered for the right candidate. Travel in the role will be typically for 1 week at a time and countries where staff have travelled in the last 3 months are: Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Malaysia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, USA.

--- THE ROLE ---

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who will have the following:

- 2:1 or higher in an IT or related degree
- Strong knowledge of Java and .Net technologies
- Experience of providing software support - face-to-face, telephone and email
- Experience of assisting with integrating customer systems

- Providing training and support for a variety of clients
- Project managing implementation and integration projects
- Software testing and use documentation
- Telephone / email support

Near Sheffield, Yorkshire

Between 25% to 50% of working time will be travelling internationally
