Database Administrator SQL DBA – Harrogate to £40k

Database Administrator is required by an expanding IT company based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire Candidates can expect a salary of up to £40,000.

Duties
Work as part of a team using the SCRUM agile methodology
Proactively seeking to identify, anticipate and resolve impediments to team and individual progress
Interpreting / agreeing / writing Benchmarking requirements
Designing / writing / changing benchmarking scripts to deliver benchmarks
Producing accurate and readable benchmark reports

Key skills
Good working knowledge of 1 or more of the following RDBMS’s:
MS SQL Server
Oracle
DB2/400
Radview Webload development
Server / database tuning / database monitoring
Working knowledge of programming techniques
