Social Media Tips for IT Managed Service Providers THURSDAY, 09 NOVEMBER 2017
Does your Managed Service business struggle to make best use of Social Media to engage clients?
We have been monitoring the Social Media activity of a range of Managed Service Providers, some of whom are really engaging with their customers, others who are simply sending Sales messages out.
Here’s 3 tips which we believe will really help your Managed Service Provider.
1 – Are you Connected?
Are you following your Customer base on Twitter?
Are you liking / retweeting your customers' tweets?
Are you LinkedIn with your Customer base?
By connecting with your Clients on Social Media, you can show that you’re interested in their business and you’re also able to find out Company information which may be useful the next time you’re meeting them.
2 – Using the right hashtags?
Are you using relevant hashtags on Twitter?
We’ve looked at hundreds of Hashtags over the last month, there’s no set list, but here’s a selection of ones which were used by MSPs.
#Cloud #CloudComputing #GDPR #UnifiedCommunications #Azure #MicrosoftPartner #Microsoft #VMWare #Citrix #ITSupport
3 – Blogs
Do your blogs offer advice to your customer base? Ideas would include advice on the latest IT Security threats, releases of new Microsoft Software or brief advice on GDPR.
Does your blog recognise and personalise your staff? An article detailing promotions, good performance or work anniversaries can often help to personalise your MSP.
