Accounts Assistant - Maternity Cover

Role Overview
An Accounts Assistant who is AAT qualified, is required for a company in the education sector based in Sissinghurst, Kent for a 12-month maternity cover. A salary of up to £27,000 is offered, depending on experience.

You will be required to carry out tasks for purchase ledger, such as processing orders, matching delivery notes to invoices and filing invoices. You will also be responsible for nominal ledger. You will prepare paying in slips for the bank and post receipts onto the account’s software. You will raise cheques/payments and obtain required signatures. You will also process the billings for the fees of students.

Skills Required
The Accounts Assistant will ideally have the following experience:

-          AAT qualified
-          Experience in a finance team in a school would be a huge advantage
-          Excellent ability to meet deadlines.
