As a long-term employee at CV Screen I am proud of the company we have become. We are more than just a team of colleagues and recruiters, but in fact an intimate group who know and care about the lives of one another. Outside of the business I run church youth events for youngsters and teenagers as well as Chair and organise a Workshop programme in the Mental Health sector. I am football mad, but when football clashes with family then family always comes first.
My first experience of recruitment was the fast-paced, cut-throat world of contract recruitment. I only lasted 9 months in part due to the lack of relationship building and sense of support provided by some of the bigger names in the Recruitment industry. In 2001 I took a risk joining CV Screen as their second employee, but was rewarded by the efforts and ground-breaking insights of our MD Matthew Iveson who grew the business consistently over the years. Now entering my eighteenth year with CV Screen I can honestly say I have experienced it all; love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, but unfortunately a complete lack of self-control.
