Brand Manager Job Description

Job Overview

Working as part of the marketing department, the Brand Manager is responsible for monitoring market trends and oversees advertising and marketing activities to ensure the right message and branding is delivered for the Company. Brand Managers work closely with many teams, including product developers, researchers, marketing personnel and creative agencies to make sure that the company brand and values are adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research markets, monitor market trends and identify potential areas to invest
  • Look at product pricing and analyse profitability
  • Oversee design, including fonts, corporate colours and overall branding of all online and offline collateral
  • Checking marketing copy
  • Supervising the sign off of marketing literature and campaigns, ensure the message and branding meet the company branding guidelines
  • Monitoring product distribution and consumer/end user reactions through focus groups
  • Co-ordinate new product launches to external customers and employees

Skills / Attributes Required

  • Previous experience in Brand Management role
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in marketing
  • Strong record of academic success
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and planning
  • Keen eye for detail

Typical Salary Range

£35,000 to £47,000
