Events Coordinator Job Description

Job Overview

The role of the Events Coordinator is to assist the Events Manager in the organisation, administration and set up of events/exhibitions for the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the research and planning of events
  • Responsible for all event administration
  • Work with the PR team to ensure press coverage and relevant editorial opportunities are fulfilled
  • Organisation of marketing collateral and event material/stand equipment
  • Set up at the venue, this may involve some overnight stays or working weekends
  • Booking staff accommodation and travel arrangements where applicable

Skills / Attributes Required

  • Prior experience in Events
  • Possess strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Confident dealing with clients and internal resources
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to progress within Events

Typical Salary Range

£23,000 to £28,000
