The Events Manager is responsible for researching, planning and overseeing exhibitions and events for the Company. The focus of the Events Managers role is to identify new and relevant event opportunities to maximise ROI.
Duties and Responsibilities
Researching and booking venues for events/courses and negotiating venue costs and terms and conditions of the booking
Brief external contractors when applicable for stand requirements
Set up at the venue, this may include some overnight stays or working weekends
Organising company personnel and briefing before and during the event
Organising staff accommodation and travel arrangements where applicable
Create a schedule of events and distribute to staff
Oversee all event administration
Work in conjunction with the Marketing team to ensure that all printed collateral is up to date and available
Work in conjunction with the Sales team to ensure that event attendance runs in line with Sales objectives
Manage events budget
Skills / Attributes Required
Previous experience in Events Management
Degree or Equivalent Marketing qualification
Strong record of academic success
Proven track record of delivering measurable results
