Marketing Director Job Description

Job Overview

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Marketing Director has overall responsibility for the entire Marketing function. In collaboration with the senior team, you will plan and execute the company’s offline and online marketing plan, working to drive traffic to the website through PPC, SEO, Emails, CRM and Social Media as well as directing direct marketing and email marketing campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the company’s brand and marketing strategy, for new and existing products and services
  • Set and manage an annual marketing budget
  • Review and react to changes in market, trends, competitors and adapt marketing activities accordingly
  • Manage external agencies providing PR, media, exhibition and design services
  • Oversee and approve recommendations for events, such as exhibitions and conferences
  • Ensure that marketing materials either printed or digital are accessible centrally and updated material is circulated
  • Manage and control the company’s social media channels
  • Oversee the company’s PPC including budget and reporting
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketing department. Supervising and mentoring your team and recruiting when necessary

Skills / Attributes Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software
