The PR Manager is responsible for planning, direction and overseeing the full range of PR activities. Whilst working closely with Journalists and media contacts to promote the Company through all media opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify online and offline PR opportunities
Write and oversee the distribution of all press releases, case studies and editorial features
Optimise all press coverage working alongside the SEO team
Build and manage a list of relevant industry media contacts for press material distribution and potential PR opportunities
Identify key personnel within the company as spokesman for media opportunities and brief accordingly
Convey awareness of the Company brand and branding message in all media coverage and communication
Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure that all PR compliments the Sales objectives
Skills / Attributes Required
Degree in PR or equivalent professional qualification
Possess strong communication skills both written and verbal
Proactive at building new relationships
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to identify opportunities, make decisions and act accordingly
