Job Overview

A Web Content Manager is responsible for producing and uploading content and copy to the company website and intranet, including news articles, blogs and website listings. Other duties include competitor analysis to ensure that the Company stays ahead of industry trends to provide relevant and informative content at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and uploading new web content on a regular basis
  • Sourcing and production of news, blogs, website listings
  • Competitor, trend and statistical analysis
  • Social media content integration throughout the site
  • Building relationships with blog followers, media contacts and industry contacts
  • Managing and optimizing website content according SEO needs
  • Liaising with Head of SEO and Marketing team to produce correct content standards
  • Creating and implementing best practice guidelines for web writing

Skills / Attributes Required

  • A degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in writing/editing/optimizing existing and new website content
  • Creative, talented with a passion for writing
  • Social media and site content managing experience
  • Experience in managing Social Media Multi channels
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Basic understanding of on-page SEO
  • Experience of web content management systems (CMS)
  • Understanding of how to derive content value and generate leads
  • Excellent writing skills
